Stichting Proefdiervrij - A world without animal testing
In the Netherlands alone, around 450,000 animal tests are carried out every year, out of 30
different animal species. The laboratory animals experience pain and stress and in most cases
cases killed after the investigation. And then it is also true
9 out of 10 medications, those
developed through animal testing, are not even effective or safe for humans
.
At Proefdiervrij we believe that this should be different and we know that this can be done differently. Therefore
we work together with scientists who develop new, animal-free technologies
to develop. In this way we prevent unnecessary animal suffering and the
research results are much more reliable for ourselves.
Thanks to donations from our donors, we can develop animal-free research
finance.
Our goal has been achieved when no animal has to be a laboratory animal anymore! You help too
