Alzheimer's Foundation - For a better life with a future without dementia

An estimated 290,000 people live with dementia in the Netherlands. Because we are getting older, that number will increase to more than half a million by 2040. Alzheimer Nederland is committed to one of the greatest challenges of our time: dementia. Together with thousands of volunteers, people with dementia, informal caregivers, researchers, donors and collectors, we work towards a future without dementia and towards a better quality of life for people with dementia and their informal caregivers. We have one goal in mind: progress! In all areas. Together we make the difference. And that is very necessary because the number of people with dementia will double to half a million in the next 20 years.
